Popular Sequence,
Ballroom and Latin Dancing
£8 per person (£4 for the Beginners Extra)
Also 12:40pm - 1:20pm Beginners extra
Very often we have dancers join our class at Pinhoe but have limited knowledge of the Popular Sequence or want to learn the basics in the Ballroom and Latin dances.
We encourage these dancers to try the main class but stay on at the end for that little bit extra!
Our main class dance about 25 different Sequence dances and these change from week to week - often including request's from our dancers. We also include some Ballroom and Latin and a Line Dance. Something for everyone.
Our group is made up of both couples and singles of different ages and abilities.
We plan our weekly programmes to suit everyone - you will not be sat still for long!

We are so privileged to be able to use 2 rooms at once, using the main Village Hall and the new Theatre.
Wendy & Diane will always let you know what is to be taught in their sessions so you are able to choose which class you wish to attend, their teaching programmes are always prepared ahead of class so they do not overlap.
So, if you want to learn new advanced steps in the Ballroom and Latin you can, you can also pop into the opposite class to learn a new Sequence or go through dances or steps in Ballroom & Latin you might have forgotten.

Beginners 6 week course
Starting 6th March 2025 a new style 6 week course learning a different style each week.
Cost £10 per person
Week 1 - Waltz
Week 2 - Cha Cha Cha
Week 3 - Quickstep
Week 4 - Rumba
Week 5 - Re cap of Waltz & Cha Cha
Week 6 - Re cap Quickstep & Rumba
At the end of the course we will advise what the
next "steps" will be.
Wendy & Diane are always looking at what is trending and although some steps we see on Strictly Come Dancing are not really for the social dance floor they will modify and teach a version that we can all dance where ever we go.
Please remember we will never change anything you may have been taught before but we can expand on your existing knowledge to improve how we look on the dance floor.
