Beginner Classes start Waltzing!

January 2023 saw the start of a new Beginners class at Alphington Village Hall on Thursdays, which has attracted a great class of nearly 20 making the Alphington class close to 50 members!

We have also opened a new venue at Exwick Parish Hall on a Wednesday evening which is seeing over 40 dancers every week!

Many of our new members are true beginners and so far they have said that they are really enjoying the new class. Let's hope this continues throughout 2023.

We still have a class at America Hall in Pinhoe where we would like to attract some new dancers although this class is our longest running class and is a mixture of Ballroom and Popular Sequence. We have learnt a lot of the popular Sequence dances that you would dance socially and on Cruise holidays.

The group are dancing dances like, Sindy Swing, Mayfair Quickstep, Melody Foxtrot, White City Waltz and so many more. We have learnt the Valentino Jive this year and we are now teaching the Niki Cha Cha Cha. This will give us 3 Cha Cha's which includes the Jacqueline and Sally Ann Cha Cha Cha.

We have so many dances to teach and this accompanies our Ballroom dances of Waltz and Quickstep and the Latin dances, Cha Cha and Rumba.

If you are someone who has learnt in the past to dance Ballroom, Latin and Sequence, Pinhoe is the place to come to refresh and learn a bit more, so contact us today to know more about the class.
